Travelling to Dawlish
From Teignmouth: Regular trains - the journey takes around 4 minutes. By bus, the Number 2, 2B or 222 – journey time around 10-15 minutes.
From Newton Abbot: Regular trains - the journey takes 11 minutes. By bus, the Number 2 will take you all around 40 minutes
From Torquay: Regular trains - the journey will take you around 30 minutes. By bus, the Number 22 will take around 45 minutes.
From Exeter: The train will take between 15 – 30 minutes, depending on the number of stops it makes. By bus the number 2 or 2b takes around 45 minutes to an hour.

Stagecoach 2, 22 and 222 (open top - from Teignmouth and Dawlish Warren only). Hourly buses from Exeter. Single fare cap - £2!
If you are travelling by bike, there are plenty of bike stands in Dawlish, to leave your bike while you enjoy the Turn the Tide event! Almost traffic-free, flat route from Exeter.

Children
Throughout the day - Circus Skills, wildfower seed bombs from Sustainable Dawlish stall and The GAZebo, where you can also make your very own postcard from the future (!), grow your own sunflower from The Allotments stall, fun and games on Recycle Devon and lots of other stalls.
At 11.30 there is a children's walk along the special trail to the new play area in Manor Park, led by Cllr Linda Petherick. Suitable for toddlers and up to 10/11 yr olds. Children must be accompanied by adults.
Storytelling by a mermaid on the magic tree stump chair at 12.15 and 2.15.
Fancy dress parade starts 4pm.
Wellbeing
Our 'Mindful Meadow' will host Tai Chi, yoga, relaxation and mindfulness sessions at set times during the day.
Coastal Chiroprators is open between 11.00 and 4pm for consultation and free taster sessions in Chiropractic Counselling, Sports Massage Therapy, Yoga + Pilates, - Foot Health Care, Osteopathy.
There will be a walking meditation on the beach at 10.30. There is also a mindful sea wall walk using an app which people can do in their own time.
